As always I am using an Innokin Cool Fire IV Plus with an iSub Apex tank, 2.0Ω Innokin Kanthal/Japanese Cotton coil at between 10 and 14W with a mouth to lung vaping style as is my preference. I have not tested this juice on a sub Ω setup because I don’t enjoy the experience this offers so your milage may vary.

For each juice flavour review I am using a clean tank and new coil to avoid flavour contamination from previous juices. I also have a bottle of water to hand between wattage changes to help me better judge the taste.

Before ordering I had some questions regarding the presence of Diketones in the liquids from Phileas Fogg. These were answered very quickly with a resounding no, all the liquids from PF are Diketone free. Since I point blank refuse to vape any juice containing or not willing/able to declare that it is Diketone free this was great news. I placed my order for a dozen bottles and within 36hrs they were at my door. Great service indeed.

Phileas Fogg – Strudel Oodle 6mg
Its been quite a week trying out the various flavours from Phileas Fogg. So far I have been very impressed with the complex flavours and smoothness of these juices. After breakfast this morning I was pretty keen to give this one a try. After all, the others had been great so I had high hopes for this!

The juice comes in the same 10ml plastic drip-tip bottles as the rest of the range with nice branding and hand-written expiry date and batch number. The bottles themselves squeeze nicely and it it easy to dispense the desired quantity of liquid without issue. This is especially useful when priming brand new coils as I do for each review.

The juice itself has an amber colour with a viscosity consistent with other juices containing a 30/70 PG/VG blend so no wicking issues here. Upon opening the bottle I was warmly greeted with a pastry and baked apple aroma which I found to be quite pleasant.
I began to vape as always at 10W, as this wattage the flavour was mainly pastry with brown sugar, only a hint of apple seemed to come through. I then increased the wattage to 12W and found the warm baked apple I was looking for blending in with the sweet buttery pastry. I once again increased the wattage up to 14W and like with the other Phileas Fogg juices found all the flavours balancing one another out. It was relatively easy to pick up on the flaky pastry, warm baked apple, hint of cinnamon and dark fruits. Think opening an oven door whilst baking a real strudel and you are not far off. This is quite a decadently flavoured juice and therein lies the rub. It is so rich and flavoursome that it could not be an all day vape for me, more of a treat. This is no bad thing, I’ll enjoy it as such. Another cracking juice from @pfvapes 9/10

This is certainly unlike other apple pie type vapes out there, and I’d have gave it 5 stars just for being unique, but unfortunately I’m not getting much of the pastry vibe. If you’re looking for a fruitier dessert vape, then this is the one for you. It’s definitely another quality eliquid from Phileas Fogg, it’s just a shame that the dessert edge isn’t more dominant.
